God’s very intention at the beginning of time was to have man be just like him. Just like an image of an object on a mirror can only do as the object does, then that’s how God is. The lord was building one of His own that was to be his representation here on earth. That just as He is in heaven, his fullness could always be in the world (in man). Genesis 1:26
God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.(AMP)
The devil who from since beginning has been a liar, new the great position a man was placed by God and he worked towards his downfall that he, the devil, could take his place of authority through deception.
He cheated man with the truth of his, man, position. Thus, the devil deceives with that which you are in knowledge of… thus, the bible says, you can’t be tempted beyond your knowledge.
In many ways man since then has had a series of means of redemption from his sinful nature but these was all but vanity. God set law through Moses that we all could be directed or lined to Christ who is the salvation of man. He has come that the initial man may be revived. God has always desired to fellowship with man just as he had intended and therefore He has again placed man in the position he placed him at creation. This comes to us through faith in Christ Jesus.
How has God Restored Our Position In Him
1. By the introduction of Love to a man’s heart.
John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. (Due to His love for man, He extended it to a man’s heart by giving up His own son.). Therefore man is placed into eternity which is God’s own nature.

2. Rebirth in God by faith in Christ. (carries the wait of recreation)
John 1:12 But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name. Through Jesus all things came into existence at the beginning, thus, rebirth symbolizes recreation for the purposes of the position of man in God.

2 Corinthians 5:17Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold the fresh and new has come! (AMP).

Matthew 19:28
Jesus said to them, truly I say to you, in the new age [the Messianic rebirth of the world], when the Son of Man shall sit down on the throne of His glory, you who have [become My disciples, sided with My party and] followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel. (AMP)
Luke 10:19
Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.(AMP) Jesus reassures us of our new position over all that in the world(Evil)..At the fall of man evil had taken over…
3. Clothing us with Christ through baptism into Christ.
Galatians 3:26 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.
4. Death and crucifixion of Christ Jesus.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
5. The blood of Jesus.
Hebrews 10:14 for by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. And also the Holy Spirit adds His testimony to us [in confirmation of this]. For having said. This is the agreement (testament, covenant) that I will set up and conclude with them after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint my laws upon their hearts, and I will inscribe them on their minds (on their inmost thoughts and understanding). He then goes on to say, and their sins and their law-breaking I will remember no more.
What Does God want of us in the world?
1John 4:17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.
Thus, just like Christ operates so should we. In love, patience, care, appreciation and much more of all that the Holy Spirit leads us into doing then our heart should be into it. How many are heartbroken with no one to mourn them, hungry with no one to feed them, blind and no one to show them the way, naked and no one to cloth them while we have Christians living around them. Where is the likeness of Christ in us?? Where is the sympathy of Christ in the believers today! How many cares about the orphans, windows, street children, and all the needy!
God calls us to be open to appreciate his creation that’s why Jesus said , how can we love the father who we see not while they that are with us we don’t love.
Conclusion
Great is the love of Christ to man that of all his creation, he has worked to bring man to Himself by his own body. Therefore, brothers and sisters, what else do we want! Let’s realize of the position we have been set to be that we may serve God with the freedom .Galatian 5:1; 1 corithians.10:23.
In the fullness of Christ is all we have to be.
Shalom.
